PERANCANGAN APLIKASI AUGMENTED REALITY BERBASIS ANDROID UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGALAMAN PEMBELIAN LAPTOP DI PT LENSAKOM METADATA INDONESIA

Abstract — The rapid development of information technology has driven the emergence of new innovations in marketing strategies, particularly in the electronic product sales sector such as laptops. PT Lensakom MetaData Indonesia faces challenges in providing an informative purchasing experience because customers cannot directly view the shape and size of products without visiting the physical store. This study aims to design an Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) application capable of displaying interactive three-dimensional (3D) laptop models, enabling customers to visualize products within a real-world environment. The system development method employed is the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), 3D model creation using Blender, application implementation with Unity 3D and Vuforia, and product data management through Firebase. Application testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all functionalities operate according to system requirements. The results indicate that the developed AR application can present realistic laptop visualizations, provide structured product specification information, and assist customers in comparing products. Therefore, this application significantly enhances the purchasing experience by offering clearer visual understanding and supporting more accurate purchasing decisions for customers of PT Lensakom MetaData Indonesia.
