KONSEP PERENCANAAN RANCANGAN FITNESS CENTER BERBASIS ARSITEKTUR METAFORA UNTUK MENDUKUNG GAYA HIDUP SEHAT MELALUI PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR METAFORA
Abstract
Abstrak- Perubahan pola hidup masyarakat perkotaan yang semakin didominasi oleh aktivitas sedentari dan tuntutan pekerjaan telah menyebabkan menurunnya tingkat aktivitas fisik, sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan risiko berbagai permasalahan kesehatan. Kondisi tersebut mendorong perlunya penyediaan fasilitas kebugaran yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana olahraga, tetapi juga sebagai ruang publik yang mampu mengedukasi dan membentuk budaya hidup sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan konsep perencanaan dan perancangan Fitness Center yang mampu mendukung gaya hidup sehat melalui penerapan tema Arsitektur Metafora. Pendekatan metafora diterapkan sebagai strategi desain untuk menerjemahkan nilai-nilai kebugaran, dinamika gerak, kekuatan, dan keseimbangan tubuh ke dalam bentuk, ruang, sirkulasi, serta ekspresi arsitektural bangunan. Selain itu, perancangan juga mempertimbangkan aspek kondisi lingkungan, kenyamanan pengguna, pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami, hubungan antara ruang dalam dan ruang luar, serta penguatan identitas lokal sebagai bagian dari karakter bangunan. Melalui pendekatan tersebut, Fitness Center diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi fasilitas olahraga, tetapi juga menjadi landmark yang memiliki nilai estetika, fungsional, dan simbolis dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tema Arsitektur Metafora mampu menghasilkan konsep bangunan yang merepresentasikan semangat hidup sehat sekaligus menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman, inspiratif, dan berkelanjutan bagi penggunanya..
