PERANCANGAN PORTAL DATA AKADEMIK BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK CODEIGNITER PADA UNIVERSITAS UBUDIYAH INDONESIA
Abstrak
Portal data akademik adalah sebuah antarmuka berbasis web yang menyediakan informasi dan layanan yang
spesifik untuk bidang tertentu, sehingga bisa bersifat personal bagi para penggunanya dalam suatu lingkungan
organisasi. Layanan informasi yang berupa data dalam hal yang berhubungan dengan akademik seperti data
mahasiswa, data lulusan, data pengajar mata kuliah dan data penerima beasiswa hanya dapat dilihat dan diakses oleh
civitas akademika atau pihak yang berkaitan dengan Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia. IPK yang didapat mahasiswa
setiap semesternya dapat dimonitoring jika pihak akademik mengetahui data jumlah dari mahasiswa yang
mendapatkan IPK berdasarkan range 0.00 sampai dengan 4.00. Dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi, dalam
tugas akhir ini dibuat sebuah aplikasi berbasis website portal data akademik pada UUI menggunakan framework
CodeIgniter yang akan mempermudah pada tahap pengembangan aplikasi dengan menggunakan konsep kerja Model-
View-Controller (MVC). Portal data akademik terintegrasi dengan SIAKAD UUI untuk melakukan pengambilan data
dengan memanfaatkan teknologi webservice RESTful. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini dapat menyediakan informasi
yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh publik atau masyarakat umum dan civitas akademika. Sehingga, pihak akademik dapat
memonitoring IPK yang didapat mahasiswa.
