PELATIHAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS PEMETAAN DAERAH RAWAN KECELAKAAN WILAYAH KOTA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Traffic accidents are the 8th highest cause of death in the world and traffic accidents are the third
leading cause of death in Indonesia. Banda Aceh in particular the number of accident rates from
2015 to 2017 amounted to 551 divided into serious injuries, minor injuries and death. This happens
because there are still many people in the city of Banda Aceh do not know the areas that are prone
to accidents so the focus prudence riders on the area is not something to be noticed and this is
supported by the absence of information online or digital from the relevant agencies ie service
Transportation and Police. In order to overcome these problems, a special city-based disaster prone
area planning system for Banda Aceh city is required, so people can see the vulnerable areas of
Kota Banda Aceh. This can assist the relevant departments in the delivery of information to the
public regarding the location of the accident.
