SOSIALISASI PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS UMKM MASYARAKAT NELAYAN DI GAMPONG MON IKUEN

Abstract

Gampong Mon Ikuen merupakan salah satu Gampong di Kecamatan Lhok Nga Kabupaten Aceh Besar provinsi Aceh yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam  yang dapat dikembangkan dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Pantai Gampong Mon Ikuen memiliki bentuk alam yang indah. Peningkatan kapasitas UMKM masyarakat nelayan di gampong Mon Ikuen telah dilakukan sejak tahun 2020 akan tetapi belum dikelola dengan baik bahkan terlihat kurang berkembang karena masih minimnya wawasan pengetahuan masyarakat yang berprofesi sebagai nelayan dalam bidang UMKM. Oleh karena itu melalui sosialisasi peningkatan kapasitas UMKM masyarakat nelayan di gampong Mon Ikuen diharapkan mampu memberdayakan masyarakat nelayan dalam pengeloaan UMKM. Tujuan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memperluas wawasan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan sekitar terkait pengembangan UMKM, serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengelolaan UMKM. Metode dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.

Kata Kunci : Peningkatan Kapasitas, Pemberdayaan, UMKM.

Gampong Mon Ikuen is one of the Gampong Mon Ikuen is one of the gampongs in Lhok Nga District, Aceh Besar District, Aceh province which has natural resource potential that can be developed in an effort to improve the welfare of its people. since 2020 but has not been managed properly and even looks less developed because there is still a lack of insight into the knowledge of the community who work as fishermen in the MSME sector. Therefore, through the socialization of increasing the capacity of MSMEs in fishing communities in the village of Mon Ikuen, it is hoped that they will be able to empower fishing communities in managing MSMEs. The purpose and Community Service (PKM) is to broaden the horizons and empower the surrounding fishing community regarding MSME development, as well as increase public awareness of the importance of MSME management. The method in this community service is a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach.
