PENTINGNYA TES MINAT BAKAT TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN KARIR SISWA DAN PROFESIONALISME KERJA
Abstract

Continuing higher education for students is the gateway to the professional world of work. Many of them have great opportunities to continue their higher education but there are also many obstacles. The high poverty rate in Aceh has a major impact on students' interest in continuing higher education, plus education costs continue to increase and job opportunities are limited. There are still many students who are confused about choosing a major for further study because it is difficult to describe their interests and talents. This will have a fatal impact on choosing the wrong major, a career that is not a passion, it will have an impact on performance, namely the level of professionalism. The aim of this community service is to help students map their interests and talents to pursue higher education, as well as provide an overview of the careers they will pursue. This will make it easier for students to get to know the world of work and help them to focus on their skills. The results of this community service were very satisfying, where students at SMA Negeri 7 Banda Aceh were very enthusiastic about finding out the results of the talent interest test, carrying out consultations and solutions and they became bolder in describing their preferred choices.
