SOSIALISASI “PERAN MEDIATOR DALAM AGENDA MEDIASI PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA PERDATA”
Abstract
Mediasi merupakan salah satu alternatif penyelesaian sengketa yang melibatkan pihak ketiga yaitu mediator yang bersifat netral, untuk membantu para pihak dalam menemukan jalan keluar yang disepakati bersama. Mediator tidak memiliki kewenangan untuk menetapkan kesepakatan atau memaksakan kehendak dalam penyelesaian sengketa, tetapi bertugas memfasilitasi komunikasi dan negosiasi antara para pihak. Setiap orang dapat menjadi mediator dalam keadan tertentu, namun untuk menjadi mediator pada Pengadilan Negeri/Pengadilan Agama dibutuhkan syarat-syarat khusus. Salah satunya memiliki sertifikat keahlian sebagai mediator. Kegiatan pengabdian tentang sosialisai peran mediator dalam agenda mediasi penyelesaian sengketa, dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang peran mediator di dalam pengadilan.
