PENINGKATAN KESADARAN LINGKUNGAN MELALUI PELATIHAN DESAIN RUMAH SEHAT DAN HEMAT ENERGI DI PERKOTAAN TIBANG
Abstract
Permasalahan lingkungan di kawasan urban menjadi isu penting dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan,
terutama dalam konteks desain rumah tinggal. Kawasan Perkotaan Tibang di Banda Aceh menunjukkan
perkembangan permukiman yang cukup pesat, namun masih minim pendekatan arsitektur yang
memperhatikan kesehatan dan efisiensi energi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan
untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat melalui pelatihan desain rumah sehat dan
hemat energi. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan warga dalam
workshop, diskusi kelompok terarah, dan simulasi desain sederhana. Hasil dari kegiatan ini
menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mulai memahami pentingnya sirkulasi udara, pencahayaan alami, dan
pemilihan material yang ramah lingkungan. Sebuah desain prototipe rumah sehat dan hemat energi
berhasil dirancang bersama warga sebagai model bangunan yang dapat diterapkan di wilayah urban
lainnya.
