EDUKASI DAN KOLABORASI MASYARAKAT DALAM MEWUJUDKAN RUANG TERBUKA HIJAU BERKELANJUTAN DI KOTA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Kota Banda Aceh sebagai ibu kota provinsi memiliki tantangan besar dalam mempertahankan keseimbangan lingkungan di tengah perkembangan urbanisasi yang pesat. Salah satu solusi strategis yang dapat diterapkan adalah pengembangan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan peran aktif masyarakat dalam pelestarian lingkungan melalui edukasi dan kolaborasi dalam pengelolaan RTH. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan partisipatif, dan kegiatan penanaman pohon bersama di kawasan potensial. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pentingnya RTH serta terbentuknya jejaring kolaboratif antara warga, pemerintah, dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pelestarian lingkungan perkotaan yang berkelanjutan.
