SOSIALISASI DAN PELATIHAN PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI OPEN SOURCE UNTUK PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA DI KOMUNITAS PEMUDA

Transformasi digital menuntut masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, untuk memiliki literasi
teknologi yang baik agar mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman. Namun, masih
banyak komunitas pemuda yang belum memiliki akses maupun keterampilan dalam
menggunakan perangkat lunak produktivitas kerja yang legal dan efisien. Pengabdian
masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas komunitas pemuda melalui sosialisasi
dan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi open source sebagai alternatif solusi yang bebas lisensi
namun tetap fungsional. Aplikasi yang dikenalkan meliputi LibreOffice untuk pengolahan
dokumen, GIMP untuk desain grafis dasar, serta Trello untuk manajemen tugas dan kolaborasi.
Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui sesi pemaparan, praktik langsung,
dan diskusi interaktif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan
keterampilan peserta dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut untuk mendukung aktivitas
kerja dan organisasi mereka. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan pemahaman penting mengenai
penggunaan perangkat lunak yang legal, hemat biaya, serta mendukung produktivitas kerja
secara berkelanjutan.
