PEMETAAN PARTISIPATIF AREA PENANAMAN POHON MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI GIS (GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM) DI MASJID PUCOK KRUENG
Abstract
Masjid Pucok Krueng di Desa Beuracan, Kabupaten Pidie Jaya, Aceh, mengalami permasalahan limpasan permukaan dan erosi ringan akibat tutupan vegetasi yang terbatas serta aliran air hujan dari talang bangunan yang langsung menuju tanah terbuka. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan secara partisipatif area prioritas penanaman pohon menggunakan teknologi Geographic Information System (GIS) sekaligus mengimplementasikan green barrier berbasis pohon buah sebagai solusi alami pengendalian erosi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi lapangan, pemetaan lokasi rawan limpasan, diskusi partisipatif bersama pengurus masjid dan masyarakat, serta penyusunan peta tata letak penanaman berbasis kontur. Hasil kegiatan berupa peta area prioritas penanaman, penanaman ±120 pohon buah dengan sistem mulsa dan ajir, pemasangan lubang resapan sederhana di bawah talang, serta penyusunan rencana pemeliharaan tiga bulan. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan tutupan vegetasi dan mengurangi percikan erosi, tetapi juga memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan berbasis komunitas dan teknologi sederhana yang aplikatif.Downloads
