IMPLEMENTASI DAN PEMBANGUNAN INFRASTRUKTUR JARINGAN INTERNET DI KANTOR DESA TIBANG UNTUK MENUJU DESA DIGITAL
Abstract
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul “Implementasi dan Pembangunan
Infrastruktur Jaringan Internet di Kantor Desa Tibang untuk Menuju Desa Digital” dilaksanakan
oleh tim dosen dari Program Studi Teknologi Informatika Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia bekerja
sama dengan dosen ISBI Aceh. Program ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas teknologi
informasi di lingkungan pemerintahan desa melalui pembangunan jaringan LAN dan internet yang
mendukung transformasi digital pelayanan publik. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh Kantor
Desa Tibang adalah keterbatasan akses internet dan belum adanya infrastruktur jaringan yang
memadai. Hal ini menyebabkan pelayanan publik menjadi lambat dan kurang responsif terhadap
kebutuhan masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, tim pelaksana melakukan identifikasi
kebutuhan, perancangan jaringan, instalasi perangkat keras (seperti router, switch, dan kabel LAN),
serta pelatihan bagi aparatur desa mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam mendukung
tugas administrasi dan layanan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini berhasil membangun sistem jaringan
internet yang dapat dimanfaatkan langsung oleh kantor desa dalam mendukung kegiatan
administrasi dan pelayanan berbasis digital. Aparatur desa yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukkan
peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan jaringan internet untuk keperluan
kerja. Partisipasi aktif dari perangkat desa menjadi kunci keberhasilan implementasi kegiatan ini.
Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan infrastruktur jaringan mampu meningkatkan
efisiensi pelayanan publik dan membuka peluang bagi pengembangan sistem informasi desa ke
depan. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong kesadaran akan pentingnya teknologi digital sebagai bagian
dari tata kelola pemerintahan yang transparan, cepat, dan partisipatif. Untuk mendukung
keberlanjutan program, dibutuhkan pendampingan lanjutan dan integrasi dengan sistem digital
lainnya yang relevan dengan kebutuhan desa.
