PEMBERDAYAAN HUTAN KOTA BANDA ACEH SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DAN LABORATORIUM ALAM BERBASIS LINGKUNGAN
Abstract
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Hutan Kota Banda Aceh sebagai media pembelajaran dan laboratorium alam berbasis lingkungan bagi peserta didik dan masyarakat sekitar. Pemanfaatan hutan kota sebagai sarana edukasi lingkungan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan literasi ekologis, kepedulian terhadap konservasi, serta keterampilan pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis alam. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan melalui tahapan observasi, sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Sasaran kegiatan meliputi guru, siswa, komunitas lingkungan, dan masyarakat sekitar hutan kota. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai fungsi ekologis hutan kota, pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar, serta meningkatnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguatan pendidikan lingkungan hidup dan pengembangan laboratorium alam berbasis potensi lokal di Kota Banda Aceh.References
