IMPLEMENTASI COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) SIMAJ PADA FAKULTAS ILMU KOMPUTER UNIVERSITAS UBUDIYAH INDONESIA

Abstrak

Computer Based Test (CBT) merupakan sebuah platform aplikasi (perangkat lunak) yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan ujian secara daring berbasis komputer. CBT sudah banyak digunakan saat ini baik di institusi pendidikan maupun pemerintahan.  Kampus Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia (UUI) merupakan salah satu kampus yang berfokus pada penerapan sarana teknologi informasi dalam penyelenggaran pendidikan. Bahkan kampus UUI memiliki visi besar menjadi salah satu world class cyber university pada tahun 2025. Oleh karena itu makalah ini mengusulkan implementasi CBT SiMAJ untuk melakukan penilaian terhadap mahasiswa pada fakultas ilmu komputer UUI. Sistem ini diujicoba pada mahasiswa program studi teknik informatika dan sistem informasi UUI tahun ajaran genap 2021/2022. Mahasiswa/i yang mengikuti ujian mengakses aplikasi secara online melalui perangkat komputer/tablet/smartphone. Melalui aplikasi ini, tenaga pendidik terlebih dahulu mengatur jadwal ujian, bank soal, dan akun login untuk tiap mahasiswa. Soal yang tampil untuk tiap mahasiswa berjenis multiple choise. Penampil soal dan jawaban menggunakan sistem acak dengan penghitung waktu mundur bersifat realtime sehingga mahasiswa/i tidak dimungkinkan untuk melakukan kecurangan. Hasil implementasi ini menunjukkan pemanfaatan CBT dapat memudahkan para tenaga pendidik untuk melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran terhadap mahasiswa/i dengan cepat dan mudah. Selain itu, sistem ini juga dapat meminimalisir kecurangan dari sistem ujian yang menggunakan media kertas sehingga kemampuan peserta didik akan lebih terukur.

Computer Based Test (CBT) is an application platform (software) that can be used to conduct computer-based bold exams. CBT has been widely used today both in educational institutions and government. The University of Ubudiyah Indonesia (UUI) is one of the educational institutions that focuses on the application of information technology facilities in the provision of education. UUI campus has a big vision of being one of the world class cyber universities in 2025. Therefore, this paper proposes the implementation of CBT SiMAJ to conduct an assessment of UUI science college students. This system was tested on students of the informatics engineering and information systems study program UUI for the even academic year 2021/2022. Students who participate in accessing the application online via computer/tablet/smartphone devices. Through this application, educators first arrange exam schedules, bank questions, and login accounts for each student. The questions that appear for each student are multiple choice. The question and answer display uses a random system with a real-time countdown so that students are not allowed to cheat. The results of this implementation show that the use of CBT can make it easier for educators to evaluate student learning quickly and easily. In addition, this system can also minimize fraud from an examination system that uses media so that the ability of students will be more measurable.
