IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI ABSENSI KARYAWAN DENGAN QR CODE BERBASIS WEB PADA PT.SOCFIN INDONESIA BANGUN BANDAR SEED PRODUCTION (BBSP)
Abstrak
PT. Socfindo Indonesia adalah perusahaan agribisnis yang berfokus pada perkebunan kelapa sawit dan karet, dengan divisi Bangun Bandar Seed Production (BBSP) yang bertugas memproduksi benih kelapa sawit. Saat ini, sistem absensi di BBSP menggunakan teknologi fingerprint yang masih bersifat kontrak, memerlukan pembayaran tahunan, dan melibatkan 167 karyawan setiap harinya. Sistem absensi manual dinilai tidak efektif, boros kertas, kurang ramah lingkungan, dan tidak akurat. Oleh karena itu, dirancanglah sebuah sistem absensi berbasis QR code yang dapat diakses melalui web untuk menggantikan sistem fingerprint. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses absensi, mengurangi biaya operasional, dan memudahkan karyawan dalam melakukan absensi harian. Diharapkan dengan implementasi sistem ini, PT. Socfindo dapat mengelola kehadiran karyawan dengan lebih baik dan tanpa ketergantungan pada sistem kontrak fingerprint.

PT. Socfindo Indonesia is an agribusiness company focused on palm oil and rubber plantations, with the Bangun Bandar Seed Production (BBSP) division responsible for producing palm oil seeds. Currently, the attendance system at BBSP uses fingerprint technology, which is still under a contract that requires annual payments and involves 167 employees daily. The manual attendance system is considered ineffective, paper-wasting, environmentally unfriendly, and inaccurate. Therefore, a QR code-based web attendance system was designed to replace the fingerprint system. This system aims to improve the efficiency of the attendance process, reduce operational costs, and facilitate daily employee attendance. It is expected that by implementing this system, PT. Socfindo can better manage employee attendance without relying on the contracted fingerprint system.
