PENERAPAN PRINSIP EKOLOGI ARSITEKTUR DALAM DESAIN BANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN DI KAWASAN PERKOTAAN TIBANG
Abstrak
Pesatnya pembangunan kawasan perkotaan sering kali mengabaikan prinsip keberlanjutan lingkungan.
Hal ini juga terjadi di kawasan Tibang, Banda Aceh, yang terus mengalami pertumbuhan permukiman
tanpa perencanaan berbasis ekologi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, diperkenalkan
penerapan prinsip-prinsip ekologi arsitektur dalam desain bangunan berkelanjutan, yang menekankan
efisiensi energi, pemanfaatan material lokal, ventilasi alami, dan keterpaduan dengan lingkungan
sekitar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi desain. Hasil
kegiatan menunjukkan meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai arsitektur berkelanjutan dan
tersusunnya prototipe desain bangunan berbasis prinsip ekologi arsitektur. Pendekatan ini diharapkan
dapat direplikasi secara luas di kawasan urban lainnya.
