AUGMENTED REALITY SAMPAH ORGANIK DAN ANORGANIK SEBAGAI MEDIA EDUKASI HANDMADE DARI BARANG BEKAS BERBASIS ANDROID
Abstrak
Gampong jawa merupakan Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) sampah yang ada di kota Banda Aceh, bukan hanya di TPA tetapi masyarakat disana juga banyak yang memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dengan ikut memilih dan mengumpulkan sampah plastik tersebut untuk dijual kembali, bukan hanya sampah anorganik tetapi sampah organik juga bisa dimanfaatkan dan dikembangkan menjadi olahan-olahan kreatif yang bisa memiliki nilai jual dan mampu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat sekitar dengan mengolah sampah organik dan anorganik menjadi kerajinan tangan handmade, edukasi yang dilakukan sekarang ini masih menggunakan cara yang konvensional yaitu dengan mengumpulkan anak-anak lalu mengedukasikan kerajinan tangan tersebut melalui presentasi, sehingga untuk menanggapi persoalan di atas, maka perlu dibuat suatu aplikasi untuk mengedukasi masyarakat dengan cara yang lebih menarik menggunakan penerapan Augmented Reality (AR) pengolahan sampah organik dan anorganik yang berbasis android. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian perancangan AR sampah organik dan anorganik sebagai media edukasi handmade dari barang bekas berbasis android, berhasil menampilkan objek 3D untuk tiga objek pengolahan sampah organik tempat tisu jerami, tas tangan jerami, keranjang jerami dan anorganik tas belanja dari tutup botol plastik, bingkai dari tutup botol plastik dan tempat pensil dari tutup botol plastik.
