PENGUATAN KAPASITAS PARALEGAL LBH YAMECA MELALUI FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION (FGD) MEKANISME RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
Abstrak
Kegiatan pengabdian ini sebagai bentuk upaya peningkatan kapasitas bagi Paralegal LBH YAMECA dalam melakukan pendampingan hukum, peningkatan kapasitas diberikan dalam bentuk Focus Group Discussion (FGD). FGD ini membahas mekanisme restorative justice dilaksanakan sebagai salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi paralegal di lingkungan Lembaga Bantuan Hukum (LBH). Kegiatan FGD ini diselenggarakan oleh LBH YAMECA bekerja sama dengan Prodi Hukum Fakultas Sosial Sains dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk memperdalam pemahaman paralegal mengenai pola dan struktur penyelesaian perkara dilapangan yang berfokus pada pemulihan keadilan, dan mengembalikan harmonisasi hubungan sosial seperti semula, serta pemenuhan hak korban dan pelaku secara seimbang. Melalui kegiatan ini, paralegal LBH YAMECA memperoleh wawasan komprehensif terkait konsep dan prinsip dasar restorative justice, termasuk kebijakan yang menjadi landasan penerapannya di Indonesia. Selain itu, FGD juga membahas alur pelaksanaan mekanisme restorative justice, peran strategis paralegal dalam proses mediasi penal, serta keterampilan komunikasi dan negosiasi yang diperlukan dalam mendampingi para pihak yang berperkara.Unduhan
