STRATEGI REVITALISASI UNIT PERMUKIMAN TRANSMIGRASI LEUNGAH DAN PENGEMBANGAN KAWASAN TRANSMIGRASI SEULIMEUM BERBASIS AGROINDUSTRI KEMIRI MELALUI PENGELOLAAN SUMBER DAYA AIR DAN MITIGASI RISIKO HIDROMETEOROLOGI
Abstrak
The Seulimeum Transmigration Area in Aceh Besar Regency has significant potential for dryland agriculture and plantation development but remains underdeveloped due to limited infrastructure, inadequate water access, and weak local economic institutions. This community service program aimed to conduct a participatory evaluation and formulate a strategic revitalization model based on local potential, particularly candlenut agroindustry. Methods included field observation, in-depth interviews with 18 key informants, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) involving 32 stakeholders. SWOT analysis, stakeholder mapping, and land suitability assessment were applied. Findings indicate that candlenut, coconut, and areca nut possess high land suitability; however, development is constrained by poor farm road access, limited water supply, and weak market connectivity. The program produced a replicable revitalization model integrating infrastructure improvement, institutional strengthening, and hydrometeorological risk mitigation.Referensi
