Immunization is one of the preventive measures taken by the government in preventing children from infectious diseases. However, in Surabaya itself, there are still parents who do not complete basic infant immunizations. There are many reasons why they do not immunize their babies. The activity which was carried out on Thursday, March 10, 2022, took place in Teubaluy Village for 1 day with the implementation of counseling, education to the community, especially parents who have babies that needed to be done in order to have knowledge about the importance of complete immunization, which was attended by 28 mothers. The results obtained from the question and answer session were from all participants, namely 28 mothers, as many as 21 (75%) mothers were able to understand about basic immunization and the importance of basic immunization in children and the remaining 7 (25%) mothers were still not sure about the impact of the immunization. . From this, it can be seen that the results of this service can exceed the success indicators formulated at the beginning of the activity, namely that there is an increase in maternal awareness about the importance of basic immunization for toddlers. Community service activities are expected to have positive insights and attitudes towards the basic immunization program so that the incidence of diseases that can be prevented by basic immunization can be reduced as low as possible. Improving basic immunization through the activities of mothers and cadres can be done through the lecture method accompanied by audio-visual aids, material presentations, discussions and test kits can be used to improve the ability of mothers to identify immunization needs for their children under five so that mothers want to make a positive breakthrough to support children's health by preventing diseases that might be prevented through immunization.
