Faktor-faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Self-Care Management pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus
Abstract
Self-care management dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kontrol glikemik, mengurangi komplikasi diabetes, dan berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup secara keseluruhan pada penderita diabetes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan self management pada pasien diabetes. Desain penelitian deskriptif analitik, dengan pendekatan crossectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 37 responden penderita diabetes. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, Data dianalisis mengunakan uji Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan self care management dengan nilai (p=0,00), adanya hubungan signifikan kemampuan aktivitas dengan self care management dengan nilai (p=0,00). Self care management Pasien diabetes dapat diatasi dengan pengelolaan diri yang baik, tingkatkan pengetahuan pendidikan diabetes, kemampuan aktivitas, manajemen diet, pemantauan kesehatan, dukungan psikologis, dan dukungan keluarga. Intervensi ini sangat dianjurkan untuk penderita diabetes sehigga pasien mampu melakukan self care management dengan baik.

Self-care management is needed to improve glycemic control, reduce diabetes-related complications, and contribute to improving the overall quality of life in people with diabetes. This study aims to determine what factors are related to self-management in diabetes patients. Analytical descriptive research design, with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The research sample was 37 respondents with diabetes. This research instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho test. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and self-care management and value (r=0.00), there is a significant relationship between activity ability and self-care management and value (p=0.00). Self care management Diabetic patients can be treated with good self-management, increasing knowledge of diabetes education, activity abilities, diet management, health monitoring, psychological support and family support. This intervention is highly recommended for diabetes sufferers so that patients are able to carry out good self-care management.
