Author Guidelines

A.  GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Authors should submit only manuscript that have been carefully proofread. The manuscript is a scientific paper from research results or conceptual ideas. Written in Bahasa (Indonesian) or English. It is an original (no plagiarism), and has never been published in other media proven by Originality Statement.

B.  WRITING RULES
  1. The manuscript is written 7-10 pages using Trebuchet MS font size 10 with 1.2 spacing on A4 size.
  2. Systematics of scriptwriting research results include:
    1. Title, The title uses an effective sentence with a maximum 15 words and given a description of the contract number and source of research funding.
    2. Identity of Author, Author's Name; The author's name listed without title; Affiliation; E-mail; Listed e-mail should be active because of the correspondence by e-mail
    3. Abstract and Keywords, Abstract contains a brieft introduction to the problem, objective of manuscript, research methods and a brieft summary of result. Abstract is single-spaced typed in English maximum 150 words. Written with Trebuchet MS (10 Pt) Italic.
    4. Introduction, The introduction should be clear and provide the legal issue to be discussed in the manuscript. Before the objective, author should provide an adequate background, and very short literature survey in order to record existing solutions, to show in which is the best of previous researchers, to show what do you hope to achieve (to show the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the manuscript. At the end, you should explain the urgency and clearly state aims of your study.     5. Research Methods, This method is written in descriptive and should provide a statement regarding the methodology of the research, include the type of research, research approach, a source of data and analysis method. The author should explain the mechanism to analyze the legal issue. This method as much as possible to give an idea to the reader through the method used, this method is optional, only for an original research article. (For Conceptual Ideas Without Research Method).
    6. Discussion, Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
    7. Conclusion, The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section. The conclusion section should lead the reader to important matter of the manuscript.
    8. Suggestion, Author should provide suggestion or recommendation related to the object which is analyze and to stimulate further research.
    9. References, References are based on article citations.
C. FOOTNOTE AND REFERENCES

Each citation must be included references by using footnotes. The footnote does not contain any explanation or description and contains footnote protected by Copyright as stipulated in Law No. 28 The year 2014 concerning Copyright. Syntax references in the footnotes:

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript is the result of the self-writing (not plagiarism) and has not been submited or published in other journal.
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word document file format.
  3. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  4. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring Double-Blind Review have been followed.
  5. The manuscript that already submitted will become an authority of editor, and the editor reserves the right to edit it without changing the content.

Authors who publish this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Publication Ethics

Journal of Low and Government Science (JLGS) has high standards for expected ethical behavior by all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer and the publisher. JLGSis a peer-reviewed journal, published three times a year by Faculty of Law Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia. It is available online as open access sources as well as in print. This statement clarifies ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the editor-in-chief, the Editorial Board, the reviewer, and the publisher. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication

The publication of an article in JLGS is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific methods. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the editor, the reviewer, the publisher, and the society. As the publisher of JLGS takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing seriously and it recognizes its ethical and other responsibilities. JLGS committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions.

Publication Decisions

The editors of JLGS are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The editors may be guided by the policies of JLGS editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editor may confer with other editors or reviewers in making publication decisions.

Fair Play

An editor at any time evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality
The editors and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

Disclosure and conflicts of Interest

Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.
