Classroom management of pregnant women by empowering cadres and local government officials with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of cadres, pregnant women and their families in early detection of cases of pathological pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborns. This class for pregnant women is a means of learning together about health for pregnant women, in the form of face-to-face groups which aims to increase the knowledge and skills of mothers regarding pregnancy, pregnancy care, childbirth, postnatal care, and newborn care. a way of joint education through training for posyandu cadres and pregnant women to share experiences on Maternal and Child Health (KIA) comprehensively and systematically and can be carried out on a scheduled and continuous basis. The class for pregnant women is facilitated by midwives / health workers using the Maternity Class package, namely the MCH Booklet, Leaflet (flipchart), Guidelines for Classroom Implementation for Pregnant Women, Handbook for Classroom Facilitators for Pregnant Women and a Maternity Exercise Book.
